Jason Bodlovich Group (JBG) is a North Bay Area instrumental trio specializing in guitar driven funkrock, blues, swing, Brazilian, jazz and more. Guitarist Jason Bodlovich leads the trio featuring a rock solid bass and drums rhythm section with JB duff on drums and Bowman on bass.. Repertoire includes original compositions, rock/pop covers, jazz/blues standards and eclectic TV/movie themes. JBG has released 4 studio albums, two live recordings and is currently supporting their latest release, “Opus 13”.

Influences include the bluesrock stylings of Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan; The funk of The Meters, Parliament/Funkadelic & James Brown; the advanced technique of instrumental rock guitarist Jeff Beck & Joe Satriani; the twang and swing of country, rockabilly and western swing guitarists Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer & Merle Travis; and the exploration of jazz guitarists Julian Lage, Bill Frissel & John Scofield. Genre classification aside, the end result is simply exciting groove-based music capable of entertaining the masses in any venue.
